#1 Eliana Johnson
Hello, my name is Eliana Johnson, but most people call me Elie. I am originally from Oostburg, Wisconsin but grew up in Chiang Mai, Thailand. I was introduced to interior design when my family and I kept moving from house to house and my mum looked at different ways to style each other home and I got to help her. I would love to go into some kind of hospitality design. I have taken many online courses in high school due to COVID and three on campus. I can succeed by following clear instructions and in-person learning. I learn by doing and seeing.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a rating system for green buildings. To be LEED certified is to be environmentally friendly. The main initiatives that are going through the program right now are decarbonization (through reducing the amount of emissions of low-quality air), quality of life (making life better for those in the buildings), and ecological conservation and restoration (limiting degradations and cohesion with nature).
I am so with you, visual learning is key! Also, looks like we both had similar information on LEED, so that's encouraging!
